On Sunday, NBC premiered MLB Sunday Leadoff when the Boston Red Sox hosted the Chicago White Sox at Fenway Park, and it looks like NBC hit a homerun.

According to a press release by NBC, the “debut of MLB Sunday Leadoff on Peacock and NBC averaged a Total Audience Delivery of 1.34 million viewers, marking the most-watched regular-season Sunday day game since 2019 (Yankees-Red Sox in London, ESPN, 6/30/19).”

Impressive for NBC’s first Sunday Leadoff broadcast. Let’s see if the numbers continue to trend upwards
