Syracuse, NY – The Rochester Red Wings‘ will send RHP Franklyn Kilome to the mound tonight with a shot to take game four against Syracuse after losing to Syracuse Mets the game three, 2-1, in extra-innings last night.

The Red Wings are still searching for road win number 30 on the year and currently have 29 wins at both home and on the road. Should the Red Wings eclipse that 30-win total today, it would mark the first time since 2019 they’ve done so. Throughout the season, the Red Wings have scored 15 runs in extras and have allowed 10, giving them a +5 run differential in extra innings.

RHP Franklyn Kilome is coming off a start that resulted in his third consecutive loss, allowing five earned in four innings of work on 9/2 against Toledo. The former Syracuse Met has allowed at least three earned runs in six of his eight starts with Rochester.

Last night…

The Red Wings lost game three in Syracuse, 2-1, in extra-innings last night. The loss last night drops the Wings to 5-5 in extra-inning contests this season. Rochester Red Wings’ starter RHP Joan Adon pitched five innings, allowing three hits and walking three while striking out six. LF Nick Banks came through with an RBI single in the ninth, tying the game and scoring DH Jake Alu, who continued his hot streak by going 2-for-4 with two doubles.
